Company History
Romani Rugs LLC was etablished in 1985 by Cyrus Kashi, with the company's name refering to its specialization in Romanian Rugs.
The company started in Manhattan and soon moved into the ORICA building in Secaucus, NJ, where most wholesellers of oriental rugs are located. After years of being the primary importer of Romanian Rugs, a tariff increase on Romanian imports led the company to deal mostly in Persian, Pakastani, and Indian rugs.
Romani Rugs LLC relies on its expert buyers in Iran to travel all over the country to inspect the merchandise and ensure a huge inventory of one-of-a-kind pieces.
Today, Romani Rugs LLC is one of the largest importers of Iranian Rugs, from fine to commercial quality. |
